
Dr Peter Neustadt - Chairman
Chairman Dr. Neustadt is a management consultant and entrepreneur with more than thirty years experience building and improving public companies within the hospitality, media, property and finance sectors. He has previously worked for the global management consulting firm, McKinsey & Company and was an executive board member of Kerry Packer's Consolidated Press Holdings (CPH).
Dr. Neustadt is the chairman of the Vow Financial board.
Tim Brown - CEO
Tim Brown has worked in the Banking and Finance industry for over 30 years and has held senior management positions in organisations such as Macquarie Bank, LJ Hooker, Suncorp, Aussie Home Loans and AVCO Finance (now GE Capital). Tim's industry experience has seen him successfully establish and own LJ Hooker Home Loans as a master franchise which was acquired by LJ Hooker in 2003.
Tim has a MBA and also completed a Diploma in Mortgage Lending and Business Management and a diploma in Financial Planning.
Matthew Walton - CFO
Matthew Walton has worked in the Banking and Finance Services industry for over 25 years and has held senior management positions in organisations such as Westpac, BT Financial Group and AMP.
Matthew has a passion for driving P&L improvement by increasing revenue, reducing costs and improving efficiency. With deep and diverse experience in Distribution and Product businesses, Matthew possesses expertise across Finance, General Management, project management, and operational and strategic planning.
Matthew has a BSc and MBA, and is long standing CPA.
Michael Nicholson - Director
Formerly the CEO of The Mortgage Professionals (TMP), Mike has moved into a non executive director role with Vow Financial. Mike has over 20 years experience in the lending and financial industries. Immediately prior to establishing TMP with his partners, Mike spent 5 years with Aussie Home Loans in broking and lending and 4 years with MLC in life sales and advisory roles.
As CEO and director of TMP he was primarily responsible for the strategic planning and direction of the company, as well as company structure and the smooth running of the business. He was functionally responsible for sales, distribution, training and development. His professional qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in management and economics.
Kirk Pitman - Director
Kirk is a Division Director at Macquarie Bank, currently responsible for delivering the merger integration programme bringing together Pacific Premium Funding and Macquarie Premium Funding, two of the industry's market-leading premium funders. Kirk has previously held positions as Head of Macquarie Financial Planning Software, Managing Director of COIN Software and Associate Director Intermediary Investments since joining Macquarie Bank in 2010.
Prior to joining Macquarie Bank, Kirk was Head of Strategy and Channel Development for St.George Bank's Intermediary Distribution division as well as having 8+ years in management consulting roles at Accenture and Chandler Macleod Consulting.
Kirk's specialist experience covers strategy development and execution including restructures, integration, mergers and divestments. He has completed business education at UNSW, University of Sydney and London Business School, holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology from Bath University in the UK and a Masters of Business Administration from UNSW, and is both a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Bob Collins - Director
Formerly the Director of National Brokers Group (NBG), Bob has now been a Director of Vow Financial since February 2010. Bob has more than 35 years experience in the finance industry. Prior to his time at NBG, Bob worked in real estate and held various management positions with Commonwealth Bank in areas ranging from Armidale to Swansea.
In 1995 Bob founded Hunter Access Finance, which became FASA, which eventually became NBG. As Director of NBG he was principally responsible for strategic planning and direction of the company, sales, distribution, training, development, as well as company structure and the smooth running of the business.
Simon Rutherford – Director
Currently a Director with Lawler Partners, Simon has been in chartered accountancy since 1984 and a Director of Lawler Partners since 1994. His specialist experience and knowledge is predominantly in the areas of corporate governance, business development strategy, structure, succession planning, taxation and key operational issues. Simon also has considerable expertise in property development matters including negotiation, structuring, planning, feasibility modelling, funding and taxation. His external board positions include National Brokers Group, Pacific Smiles Group, Canyon Property Trust and Australian Mortgage Line.
His professional qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a Registered Tax Agent.
