Brokerage wins big at aggregator conference - Australian Broker Online (25 September 2014)
Alliance Mortgage Solutions (AMS) were the big winners at the Vow Financial Altitude Awards gala dinner in Vietnam this month. The brokerage nabbed three different awards: 'Broker Partner of the Year - Over 6 Loan Writers', 'Broker Partner of the Year - Settlement Volume' and 'Broker Partner of the Year - Rising Star' which was awarded to one of the directors.
Marketing manager at Vow, Matt Mitchener said the aggregator was "blown away" with their attention to detail, quality of submissions, settlement volumes and growth for a new broker.
Donald Tang, director of partnership development at AMS told Australian Broker that it feels good to be recognised for hard work.
"These three awards mean a lot to the whole Alliance team. Our team has put in so much hard work and have sacrificed so much personal time to provide our clients with the best possible mortgage consultation service.
"We are a group of young with a dream to achieve something in the industry and these awards celebrate our professionalism, working ethics, devotion in the industry and our determination to be the best."
Winning the 'Broker Partner of the Year - Over 6 Loan Writers' was particularly important for the team, says Tang.
"It not only considers settlement volume, but also the corporate management system. It recognises our company setup, compliance management, accreditation training, on-job training, and customer feedback management and satisfaction level.
"AMS has invested a lot into our system development and corporate management to provide the most comprehensive support for our brokers. This award recognises the balance we strive to maintain in nurturing mortgage broking talents while achieving high settlement volume."
Tang said it is their strong systems and management which allowed them to take out the 'Broker Partner of the Year - Settlement Volume' in the first place. The AMS team settled $416,676,393 in the year to June 2014.
Looking to the future, these rising stars don't seem to be slowing down. On top of a focus to continue to improve on their usual business, Tang told Australian Broker that they are looking to invest into new recruitment, boost their sales revenue by 25% and test the franchise model.
