Answer. Resi's flagship investor product is the Investor P&I Flexi Options with an LVR of up to 80%, the current rate is 3.94%. Over the past 12 months, the highest this variable rate has been was 4.04% showing that at Resi, we are consistently pricing our loans as competitively as possible.
Question. With negative gearing appearing to be here to stay, does Resi provide Interest only solutions for investors as well?
Answer. Yes we do, while the interest rates start a little higher we can offer a 2 or 3 year fixed rate at 4.14%, what's more, these rates apply for LVR's up to 90% (inclusive of LMI)! Yes, Investor, Interest Only solutions for loans up to a 90% LVR. Variable investor interest only rates starting at 4.29%.
Question. I see a lot of self employed borrowers, how well positioned is Resi to look after their needs for investor lending?
Answer: Our experience sales and credit staff are well versed in dealing with self employed scenarios. Also we have product solutions that cater for self employed (with financials) and those that may not have the necessary documentation (alt Doc). Across our various product ranges, we have 2 funders that provide Alt Doc loans and one that is happy to operate off just an accountant's letter (along with verbal confirmation with the accountant).
